Enjoy free membership of the ESTSS
UKPTS members are automatically eligible for free membership of the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS). The ESTSS comprises more than 20 national and pan-national traumatic stress organisations. It promotes the sharing of knowledge and experience about all aspects of psychotraumatology by fostering high quality research and best clinical and applied practice, building international and interdisciplinary networks, developing cross-European training for different levels of certification, and by contributing to public policy at a European level. The Society has a number of Special Interest Groups, hosts a biennial conference – one of the largest psychological trauma events in the world – and runs online and in-person seminars, workshops and discussion groups throughout the year.
The Society also publishes the European Journal of Psychotraumatology (EJPT; 4.2 IF, 7.6 Scopus). A peer-reviewed multidisciplinary open-access journal, the EJPT is Europe’s leading traumatic stress publication welcoming contributions from across the psychological trauma field.
